The Fenton Pub

One does a double take when entering the Fenton, its a large pub and so has a hallway onto which the bar sits but its like entering the front of a youth club. After being served drinks on the way in the inside opens up as rooms and goes upstairs for larger evenings. There is a well stocked bar on both drink and crisp front. It is quite friendly, i am told by a fellow drinker that if you lose something in here you will get it back, so it is relaxed with tables hidden in the corners where apparent sordid activities occur supposedly. There is also a pool table and the power ballads come on  at 10pm.

The venue isn’t quite up to scratch however, the toilets are unpleasant, the place gets overcrowded as the evening wears on and the youth club feel just doesn’t strip back the years as you would expect it to - 4/10
