The Eldon Pub

A traditional pub sitting quite innocently on the war path of the Otley Run through which students come and storm this pub at around 9pm during Saturdays at term time. The interior is a rich fabric of dark woods with a space cleared in the middle of the pub for standing and drinking, while on the outsides are small perch-able tables. On this particular visit the students have already ransacked the venue - the floor is littered with fliers, the toilets are a completely sickie state and yet the place never seems to overcrowded to get served by management that obviously try to keep the peace during such times of turmoil.

Overall the Eldon seemed like a fine establishment to grab a brew - its low ceilings give it a Gothic feel but there is no doubt it was here before the Otley run and will see many days after - 6/10
