Mojo Bar

This surprise hit two floor bar in the centre of Leeds likes to pull itself a crowd. Outside there is a brief queue to get in but the bouncers are friendly if a little stern. Inside the bar is lit up purely by red neon lights upstairs and down with good music played throughout the night on a visual jukebox system. The place does get very busy and it loses quality being quite small and thus cramped but there are good cocktails on offer. Mojo is predominantly an indie bar with mellow rock hits and the bar staff are actually pretty slow to build cocktails. Amist such activities and in a complacent rather than impatient mood I observe a rather drunken crowd clambering on chairs to shake their bottoms, girls and boys alike. I notice the memorabilia on walls and it somehow makes me smile, giving a very warm and welcoming feel.

I have to note that the alcohol selection upstairs is not as good as downstairs but the atmosphere is probbaly better in the lofty, hazy bellows of the upstairs crowd. I would certainly go back, I just dont want it to be as over-crowded next time - 7/10
