Azucar Tequila and Tapas Bar

With a very good selection of drinks including a whole array of tequilas. Inside the venue is a dark room with the occasional spotlight beaming down from above on the drinkers. Different booth types are the supplied seating with leathers in red and black and candles which light up the back wall of the bar. Screens run along one side playing over music videos. On offer are some pretty amazing cocktails -it should be noted that the Margareta is superior concocted by a rather overworked but friendly staff. Things of interest are all about the places like handbag hooks at the the bar and  arty pieces yet with the atmosphere of a strip club. Formally this is one of Howard marks ventures into the world of drinking and he pulls off a rather important blend of class and fun.

Few would believe that mr nice could successfully dabble in this corner but he does and does it well. Recommended as one of the newer additions to the leeds bar scene with good food to accompany- 7/10
