Casi’s Rock Club
Pronounced ‘Sassies’ this is the only rock club in Warrington and I think it tries really hard to be something its not. You get an air of primary school disco when you enter and look into the faces of 50 something 12 year olds. The Bar is cheap and to your left and as you walk past some seating on your right you reach a DJ booth, where the guy has never even heard of Mindless Self Indulgence and onto the dancefloor, a big space no-mans land without the slightest peek of a mosh pit. To your left now there is a green lit room with more seating and up the stairs you reach other dance floor for what was apparently the same genre as downstairs. The Bar taff were older, rather chatty and pleased with themselves and it certainly produces the rock mood in an RnB town. Its worth the single visit.
Overall it gets a sympathetic 5/10
Please see above a very accurate map of this pub location. Do not trust other sites that put pubs in the wrong place, I have actually visited this pub and unless it has grown legs it sits exaclty where shown on the map above.

hey hey hey lay of casi’s its good for a local, and it has got better, granted the krazyhouse is much better, but what else are us indie kids mena do when we dont have enough moolah for taxis home?

Went to casi for 1st time the other night and it was pants, stayed for 10 mins then left and went to an all night house party with far more rock and indie tunes on, and people aged old enough to buy fags!
Casi is good for children and people who like to remain sober getting a sugar high off coca cola bcos mummy and daddy aren’t watching to check it’s sugar free.

Now if you want to have a shit night out, with a bunch of under age kids. Then Casi’s is the place for you!
I reckon 80% of the people who go there are underage, the bouncers are suppose to be highly trained but really they must either be retarded or blind to let some of those people through the doors without asking for I.D.
Mind you, come to think of it if they did start asking for I.D, then the club would be empty and close down. I wish…
I give it 0 out of 10 because I could have more fun helping old women cross the road.

It is certainly terrible but given that its the only rock shop in town does it deserve to get a zero, c’mon, how about a 1 for effort?

Casi is a drug-dealing pit (don’t believe me?? - just ask the doormen), which shoulda bin closed years ago. it’s just lost its license for serving underagers. don’t know how its operated this long. must be because it keeps all the drug dealing shit in in one place.

ok comin from someone who used to go when she was 16 a fair few years ago now it was fuckin ace no doubt. some of my best nights out ever were in there. yer it was a shit hole but thats what was so good about it. didnt feel like you had to impress anyone. and when you live in a place like warrington it was a relief to go somewhere that actually played decent music, maybe it was the same stuff repeated every week but i’d rather hear pantera walk repeated every week than all the chart junk thats played everywhere else. if it can give a good night out without having to be all done up with an expensive paint job etc then it’s done just fine

hi i just want to say that the club is now called club wired, it plays more than MSI as it plays subkulture, celldweller, bluestahli etc
no longer has “”kids”" within the venue and has a stage area, pole for dancing on also. also now has some live bands performing jus like tonight 27/02/09 is the 2nd night that billy idol tribute will be playing. so before you judge on what it was it is now alot beter as i can say this as i have been going for 6 years and have seen its many changes and do say it has gotten better. as for drugs dealing does not go in in here, well no more than anywhere else as other clubs in town it happens in and some are even run by dealers and takers. at least wired is an alternative club rather than the same stuff in all the other clubs in the area.
