Big Bar

Big bar is all about the dance music. Its a dark pub turned club with a dancefloor at DJ in the center and pub style seating around the outside. A rather sleezy crowd but the bars waiting times are very good and they always have deals on drinks. Probably the only place for dance music in Warrington which makes it popular at the weekend. The toilets are also inviting.Overall big Bar gets 7/10.NB: Annemarie - Chav of Chester claims Big Bar to be “Utterly amazing, if i was writing your f**king Blog i’d give it a 9 !!!” , trust her opinion at your own risk!

I have been to the big bar and found the bar staff helpful and friendly. Unfortunately the security staff are aggressive and gunho and think nothing of pushing older women and young girls about wthout listening to anyone and they treat all situations as a matter of national security, which clearly , if they bother to look at the cctv footage is the wrong move. I think they should keep their cool and assess the situation before pushing women that are older and smaller or much younger than them around. Clearly more training is needed for these gunho staff or the reputation of the pub is going to be ruined.
Any guy, security or not, who can watch a young girl being pushed around by another guy and push out the people trying to protect her and do nothing to the culprit don’t deserve to be paid to protect people, which is after all what they are paid to do.

Big Bar is the place to be. I love the music and now that tuesdays have changed it sounds better in the week. The music isn’t always the same anymore. There is like indie and r&b on tuesdays aswell as some dance. The bar staff are very friendly and the door staff are very nice aswell. The woman who wrote about the bar staff needing to be trained more, you have to remember that they can’t see everything, they have to deal with things quickly or else people can sneak in or unless someone else starts to kick off somewhere else. I know it’s unfair, it’s happened to me before, but people make mistakes, they do do their best. I absolutely LOVE the dancefloor, if you’re alone and you can’t find your mates, stand on the dancefloor and you’ll easily make a few friends! They’ve got some wicked cocktails too! xx
