Zilli Cafe (Brewer Street - London)

Zilli Cafe

Zilli’s Cafe on Brewer Street  is a long shop with a canteen running the length of it and a few wooden benches in the far corner. Zilli’s is not much good for coffee’s it has to be said. With a selection of only about five or six types, and enough table space for one large family, it seems more like the place to stop and buy food for a hot meal of a lunchtime. Casserole dishes line the glass front of the canteen and staff serve up with haste but without smile. A token system is in operation for the hot drinks but I am not sure why one would bother.

Overall quite a sad little cafe. it doesn’t look half bad but it has no character or atmosphere and not enough enough elbow room at tables to enjoy a fry up - 3/10
