Strada Italian Restaurant

Zip just off of Regent Street and find this quite busy, medium sized restaurant, lurking on the opposite side of the road to Soho. I’ll admit that I walked past it a number of times before realising it sat here and one business lunch, happened inside. I would recommend trying to book lunch where possible because the place does fill up in the week but we were seated by a smiley little waiter at the back of the establishment. The venue was very well presented with sharp wooden tables, bright lighting and shiny new looking cutlery sitting waiting for us at the table. The service was very nifty, no sooner had we ordered than the pizza style garlic and pesto breads had arrived and may I say, the pizzas are pretty good. This was quickly followed by another delicious main (although the plates were a little on the empty side) Throughout the meal we felt quite separated from the rest of the restaurant out the back where in fact little activity occurred.
Overall the venue was not overly suitable for a business lunch but it was very well priced and the food was excellent, in fact I often find it difficult to knock this chain which among other things certainly could have done with a better selection of condiments - 6/10
