Soho Pizzeria (Kingly Street - London)

Soho Pizzeria

A ghastly and putrid experience by all means. The Soho pizzeria looking harmless enough perched at the end of Kingly Street on Beak Street advertises an America-diner like experience coupled with a jazzy Italian upbeat sale. Once inside the staff are only too happy to ignore your presence so we find a table ourselves at first by the door (way too draughty) and then later deeper into the restaurant. The ornaments and large art pieces depicting Jazz and pizza are a little over the top, especially since there is not a whisper of Jazz to be heard. The menu is not particularly extensive and expecting a Pizza Express type meal to land in our laps we are met with a tough, small misshapen set of pizzas that although we wildly different on the menu were identical in visual appeal when they arrived.

Overall the Soho Pizzeria should be avoided at all costs, the staff (although eventually attentive) spoke little English, the food was revolting, going cold and not as advertised and waiting a good half hour for the bill when we barely ate anything (leaving overfilled plates) suggests this place deserves little more than a 1/10
