Pizza Hut (Oxford Street - London)

Pizza Hut

Probably the template for all other restaurants of this famous fast food chain, Pizza Hut in Oxford Street was always going to be the busiest of the pizza huts and i will admit to eating in here on more than four occasions. Of a lunchtime one can expect a queue to form at the door at around 1pm all waiting for the hostess to lead the party to a vacant table among the loud parties of tourists, old folk looking for a cheap lunch and families with very young children. A walkway separates the two halves of the restaurant and a skeleton staff attends to the mounting needs of diners. The lunch buffet is so popular that people are like vultures despite the fact that the food keeps coming. This branches ice-cream-factory is never really kept clean and up to scratch, much to my disappointment but other than this the place is convenient above all else.

Overall a value for money lunch, slow service for anything which wasn’t cooked yesterday but a reliable choice when in need - 5/10
