Pizza Hut

Pizza/Pasta Hut sits directly between Tottenham Court Road and Leicester Square stations. The free flow of tourists and shoppers along this stretch is a veritable parade as people try in vain to access covent garden’s shopping precinct and in a state of panic dive into the nearest restaurant for fuel. This venue is all a showcase for the wanderers outside. It is set on two levels with one or two frantic (and somewhat idiotic) members of staff trying their best to handle the restaurant. One would wonder how hard it could be to simply direct lunch eaters to the buffet and refill drinks when required but with tables put as close together as possible and food going cold right and left, it is clear to see that this venue needs not only a management boost but a face-lift greater than just serving up more pasta and less pizza.
Overall Pizza Hut on Charing Cross, but the “circus” cross-roads, is a showroom with nothing good to show-off, a tourist trap and if nothing else, a convenient and cheap place to grab a bite to eat, even if the service could do with vast improvements - 4/10
