Paul Bakery and Cafe

The gayest road in central London holds hands with paul, a bakery, cafe, eatery which is trying to somewhat compete with the 100year old established bakeries which have been sitting here as neighbours previously unthreatened by chains. As such paul must be second choice to any of the other venues on this street. The long serving is at the entrance walkway and at the back is a handful of comfortable seating for eaters. The food looks believably delicious, and it is.the coffee is also presented very well and the staff are very attentive and polite. The problem is the speed of the service which at its best was a snails pace and with two people serving, waiting in a queue made up of 3 people for twenty minutes seemed ridiculous.
Overall paul should really not be on this turf in the first place. The service speed isn’t there but its OK for a simple coffee 4/10
