Cafe Pomodoro Quality Sandwiches (Soho - London)

Cafe Pomodoro Quality Sandwiches

Soho is littered with cafe’s of all shapes and sizes but finding on this far west near regent street is something of a surprise. Cafe Pomodoro is well hidden on the one way street of Kingly Street posted opposite Studio Valbonne. Outside it a couple of cheaply knocked up plastic fold away chairs and small chrome tables at which no customer would likely sit. Inside a deli counter bustling with food types and towards the back a builder friendly cafe equipped with single waitress and laminated menus. The menu is quite extensive and superbly cheap for its location with a massive English breakfast coming in at a cool fiver topped off with toast and tea. The place is a little too cheap though even for Soho, the clientele picking it up just a little as the odd student or business reading the paper in a cheap suit so the atmosphere suffers but it does what it says on the tin (quality sandwiches) and a hearty brekkie.

Overall the Cafe Pomodoro is precisely what would suit a light wallet for a big meal in Soho, cheap as it comes but dont expect a red carpet or even particularly great table service for your single buck - 5/10
