Bodean’s BBQ Restaurant

A total gem of a restaurant in London’s Soho, Bodean’s just looks to be a busy cafe/diner establishment on just another corner of this diverse square mile of adult boutiques and lavish fashion labels. Bodean’s indeed is a busy place upstairs but discovering its belly in the basement will bring joy to your belly. The layout is small American style diner with booths and small tables. The placement menus reveal a solid meat loving explosion of ribs, sausages, burgers, whole chickens and barbaqued chicken portions with specials on different meat combinations on different days including Monday’s “burnt ends” (slow roasted beef pieces in a smokey sauce). The food is truely fantastic, even if the meat is tough in places, because the portion sizes are huge and the value is unbeatable, it has that TGI’s meal size without the tacky surroundings.

Overall Bodean’s is a total favourite with Soho’s american firms, continually find suited parties tucking into smokey bacon burgers with chilli bbq sauces dripping from their chickens in this meat feast to turn the stomachs of poor vegetarians but a golden establishment in its own right - 7/10
