Ask Italian Restaurant

A chain of restaurants now populating London had one of its flagship venues living on its busy intersection beside totteridge and whetstone station as the primary access point to London. ask is quite small but its sits inside a lovely, if dwarf garden where room to stand and use a bird bath as an ash tray brings punters out of the box like wooden building in the summer months. Inside, the venue is not completely enticing, there is not a majesty of space or cheery atmosphere. More of the over 40’s stuck up totteridge crowd seem to pop in here for a pizza, we notice as we embark to our table in the slice of patio which serves as a back garden. The food is good, the menu not overcrowded with awkward pickings but the dessert menu lacked a sundae option which i crave for.
Overall an eventless meal that could have been slowed down on the part of the staff but with silence instead of music or even crowds around us? I am certain i am not in their target market of diners - 5/10

I also been there in an occation one of my frienc birthday. I like the restaurat dectoration, especially the out side garden. It’s a lovely place for dinner but unfortunatelly i didn’t enjoy dinner because the service wasn’t that much good what we expected. Restaurant was very busy but wasn’t enough staffs for service. I wasn’t like food but the dessert was excellent. When we went there we wait at least 30 min. for a table and it seems that waitrees was not happy to see us but it’s true that only 3 waiter/waitrees are not that much enough to serve. I hope they will recover it.
Therefore, the place is nice and dessert was nice but food and service wasn’t that much good. I am affriad to score them 5 out of 10. thanks
