Suruchi Curry House

Taking over from an old failing Greek restaurant that had sat on the same spot for so many years is Suruchi. Yet another curry house but here’s the twist. Suruchi is the best curry restaurant in barnet. The venue is rather small but is made cosy by a warm candle lit environment and a friendly owner who likes to keep his regulars happy with complimentary beverages. The menu is not as extensive as its competitors which places good focus on the spices in the food and this shines through in the mastery of flavours and generous portions. The food is not overly priced either and although the service maybe a little slow the cooking techniques are different enough to bring a fine quality here.

Overall a satisfied clientele and a balance of flavours which, if you haven’t over indulged in thali leaves you wanting more 8/10
