Spizzico Restaurant

Quite how this restaurant, tucked into the hill of barnet, has survived so long is anyones guess.well actually its not. The well rounded modern cuisine restaurant offers a idealic setting for dates with loved ones or friends. The dark wood bar is striking in contrast against the lighter walls at the rear of the restaurant and the food has its own personality, in particular the garlic bread shaped like a hand always gets me giggling. The front of the venue opens up onto the quiet street outside for those mild summer evenings. But its not all fun and games, being close to the money men of hadley wood-Spizzico has its own demons and rumours. I have heard that the beautiful waitresses gave out more than fabulous deserts and that at one time in its sordid past this restaurant had a wrist slapped for operating a high class brothel in the upper tiers of the building.
Overall Spizzico has long be herald as a great place to enjoy a quiet meal at the right price and this simpley cannot be disputed - 7/10
