White Camp Bar

During Reading Festival the fields of Caversham fill to overflowing with tents and people and although White field - the field further from the main arena, is sectioned off as being a “quiet” field, it is home to its own Bar - a feat. than none of the other fields can lay claim to. The White Bar is different from the sorts of bars you find arena-side as well, its open rather late, it has an enclosed space for drinking comfortably within at picnic tables with heavy red glowing fabrics in the roof and walls above and the bar staff are friendly. The bar is situated along the main path so access is easy from anywhere in white field and it has an array of disco-like lights for even more atmosphere.
While the arena remains open however white bar often falls quiet although it is still manned all throughout the day. Overall its very accommodating to have a bar so far away from the Reading Festival action and certainly one that has been done up so tastefully - 7/10
