Bacardi Tent Bar

Quite a small tent as far as festivals go, the Bacardi tent at Reading festival 2005 attempted to exclusively sell bacardi at its bar, but with an event sponsored by Carling, beer was also available in large plastic cups. The actual bar sat in the top left corner of the tent where the stage and its minor acts were located in the bottom right corner, therefore going to get a drink from the bacardi bar meant pushing you way through a small crowd of dancing fans of whichever dj happened to be on the stage. The bar itself was catered by some friendly bar persons, insisting on offering everyone rum and coke, the prices were inflated as one would expect at a festival but there were places to sit down and have a drink in what was quite a light and airy atmosphere because the bacardi tent did not play host to any big name music groups.

Overall a nice combination of bar with tent with music venue carrying off a new aspect the festival feel - 6/10
