Lloyds Bar

A lloyds bar joins the line-up of this parade of bars along the Waterfront in Nottingham to offer cheap wetherspoons-style services to drinkers who are after some low playing commercial tunes, TV screens over the bar showing sports during such seasons and very loud crowds cheering for a love of alcohol. The bar is quite square but a small maze of tables and chairs when the crowd begins to grow as an evening wears on. There is a second floor which overlooks the first and the crowd is commonly populated with student teams dressed in fancy-dress with 50somethings dotted about wearing their best sparkly dress to attract a young drunken male eye. The bar service is very very slow however but the selection remains strong.
Overall a busy popular bar but it needs to look a bit more like a bar than a badly furnished lounge or maybe it just needs to get a handle on the age of the crowd - 5/10

The staff have change that much in the last 6 months and since Nation has left it’s gone done hill, the music used to be so load the the cealing so low up stairs it used to do my head in, never go in there again.
