Cucamara Bar

Slipping down a side alley in the wonderful streets of Nottingham brings one to a strange bar with zealous popularity among bar crawling students. There is an id check on the door before you make your way up the stairs to a wide dance-floor with the bar to your right and small tables to the left. The bar is well stocked and at two fifty for a strong cocktail and I mean strong, its off to a good start! This place also stocks Psang Ambon (in a dodgy looking bottle behind the bar called Velvet Banana Shot) and many shots at only a pound each. There is dance music in the air and serving times are fast with prizes to give away if you can get through enough shots. The toilets are pretty good as well- even featured on the BBC website. Definitely worth the money, any bar that serves sambuca and a pound a shot rules and although it seems quiet young crowds are in and out all night long.

Overall 7/10
