MGM Grand Casino

I arrive at the casino from the monorail which runs behind the casinos on the East side of the strip and find myself in a giant food court. The place feels like Disneyland with its colourful fibreglass walls and splashes of colour. Getting carried away with the look and feel of the venue I order 50 chicken nuggets from the mcdonalds and stuff my face before wandering around the casino. The place is massive beyond words, it does take me ling to get lost among the advanced modern age slotmachines, virtual poker tables and gift shops selling absolutely everything with the MGM grand lion on it. I’ve seen “Oceans 11″ hundreds of times and I don’t recognise this place at all. A veritable adult Disney where tall cocktails and Budweisers are the order of the day. There are wild animals rumoured to be in here somewhere but shamefully I cannot seem to find them. Eventually I stumble outside into the bright light of the strip and it takes me about twenty minutes to walk to the next block in the wall of heat from the nirvada desert 6/10
