Circus Circus Casino

I will be honest here, the infamy of a certain Johnny drop movie (fear and loathing in Las Vegas) drew me into this casino in the northern parts of the Las Vegas strip. This is one of vegas’ oldest casinos but remains pretty huge, although the dark interior with nooks and crannies leading from slot machine to slot machine take me past a whole series of fairground games as well. And in the center of the casino in a trapeze setup lives overhead. I make my way towards the back of the venue past the vast halls of lights only to discover something called the adventure dome. I head on inside and end up on upside down roller coasters and free fall towers all decorated with the signature pink colours of circus circus. Time check: its 10am and I’m glad I haven’t eaten And regurgitated my breakfast yet.

Overall another dreamland casino of Las Vegas, well established, dark but with character although nothing that can eclipse many of the more modern ventures - 7/10
