Lolita Bar

Young girls, bottled beers and mood lighting in this trendy back-street bar in old town Marbella. We stumble across Lolita bar with a crowd of young people outside and enter the small downstairs room with its makeshift bar and grumpy looking bar-man. The venue then goes upstairs onto a low-lit intimate landing with couches and a small water-feature and up again to an upstairs bar which is also small. Dance music plays throughout the rooms and cocktails are also on offer. It is probably important to notice that the decor emanates a feeling of “coolness” where backstreet European alternative teenage culture meets drinking.

Overall quite the small sleek little bar but a little seedy for the disconcerting gentleman, perhaps one for a quick Corona before a club down the road, it could also do with a little more friendliness from the staff - 6/10
