Castell Medieval Ballroom Bar

A large ballroom with a central stage where flamingo dancers perform with more perspiration on their heads than a bomb diffuser. The rest of the ballroom is filled with ornate wooden furniture and when dancers are not dancing the room fills with classic live music from a band. Families in full force fill the dancefloor to bursting and the bar area remains rather crowded throughout the night. Prices for drinks are very much inflated, with many beers costing more than they would in London. Bar service is also slow and despite the mass of tables, finding an empty one for a small party is not easy. The security is lax enough for you to sneak in wine from the medieval banquet room making your first bottle of dubious rose, free.

Overall too full of families and bar-first-timers to be the sort of place you can relax with a cool beer but the entertainment keeps the place lively and different - 5/10
