Dva Andela Bar and Restaurant

Just another tavern-styled restaurant along the edge of this popular pedestrianised bar strip in Novi Sad, Dva Andela was actually “the big surprise upstairs”. Seeing there were diners outside we asked at the door if there were more cool tables inside and he eager took our hands and led us up a dark staircase closer to the back of a venue that was mostly empty inside. Suddenly we were faced with a multi-level outdoor terrace, beautiful and romantic. Quite shocked, we sat at a dimly lit table, the service was not amazing (we felt largely ignored) but the fabric walls of the top tier of the restaurant blowing in the light breeze and the big plates of food laid before us were eye-opening. The food was not amazing and the wine, although well priced was a little off taste but it was a great little find in this rather in-hospitable looking location.
Overall a truely lovely interior, meant that even bad food could not ruin our evening, we dined for a coupel of hours and still left the venue wanting to explore its delights further - 8/10
