Cuba Libre Bar (Novi Sad - Serbia)

Cuba Libre Bar

A loud, bold, bar-come-club next to the Tourist-trap bar of London Club. Cuba Libre is a long thin bar with lit up floors and walls with neon green and blue light. The DJ is enthusiastically playing bass heavy tunes while the bar tries his hands at spinning bottle while asking me to repeat the words “Red Bull” over and over again as he shrugs, standing beside a fridge full of the stuff. We grab a couple of cocktails which seem to come in a little on the pricey side (around £5 each) which is unheard of in these parts. The atmosphere feels a lot cooler than the cheese of the bar next door, it is playing a clubby hand and although the bar is practically empty I can see it filling up as the sun begins to rise again.

Overall the kind of bar/club you would expect to see on holiday, heavy tracks, clueless barmen who actaully don’t make a bad cocktail and a room too small to dance in - 6/10
