Fab Bar

This place is more commonly known as fabcafe the website for which is: http://www.fabcafe.co.uk/. Fab is a bar in one of the primary spots of Manchester, just off of Oxford Road, but with a small enough entrance not to be spotted by the masses. On entering you descend a dark staircase into the poorly lit crowd below. The bar is bathed in a red light and is busy- although it does not take long to get served. The prices are excellent and shots are cheap. The music is also rustic and alternative playing trance and house beats throughout the night. A great place to visit on any night out, flawed only by the difficulty of finding it and the stench of sweat and sick that reels out of the toilets, but then who gets put off by something like that in a city with as strong-a-stomach as Manchester?

Overall a better-than-average 7/10.
