Jurys Inn Hotel Bar

In the basement of the value-for-money hotel - Jury’s Inn in the centre of Manchester, resides the hotel’s private bar. The bar has been carved out of the basement brickwork and consists of a large room and curved bar around one side. In fact the bar is so hidden away that it was not at all clear how to find the thing. Unlike the rest of Manchester the bar closes relatively early (around 1am) in the week although staff are courteous, friendly and approachable. The usual beers are on tap, and spirits and bottles are well stocked.

Overall quite a good bar for one that just serves a hotel, but hidden from view where it should probably be better signposted and encouraged for use by the hotel’s guests - 5/10
