The Trafalgar Hotel Roof Terrace Bar

Separate from the Rockwell bar a few stories down, this wonderful rooftop experience is breathtaking, especially under the twinkling of the Lights of central London. Entry costs around five pounds at a small desk in a reception area of the hotel. The lifts, (lit up with neon blue) then take you up to the top floor where, up another small flight of stairs in a small garden, we are presented with glamorous bright white sofas, bar stools perched facing outward and a small bar on the lower plateau of the terrace. White grate-style fencing surrounds the back of the venue and forefront - Big Ben, The London Eye, parliament and Nelson are all laid out before us. The venue is busy for 9pm on a Friday night but there are still plenty of seats and soft bright red blankets have been supplied alongside outdoor heaters to cope with the British summer. The view is unbelievable. The customers are a little snooty and up themselves, overly glad to be sat int he crows nest of London for such a small price.

The music drifts in occasioanlly as harmonic and jazzy. The drinks available are lot bulging with variety and with heavy price tags simpyl relfect the astounding location. Overall a real breath-takers, great for romantic dates and for making big impressions - 8/10
