Oceana NightClub

Another addition to Britain’s super-clubs, Watford Oceana sits nestled among other bars and clubs on this pedestrianised strip looking like a warehouse among a parade of cottages.outside queues form and at the little window a grumpy woman demands an eleven pound entry fee. I will let readers know at this stage that this is am extortionate price among this chain and i air my views at the door,almost being refused entry. Inside the oceana story is told, long hallways, blue staircases and ornate rooms including one with red velvet curtained booths and another with a Mexican twist. The rooms circle around a central dance arena, a much smaller centrepiece than other oceanas i have come across but still teaming with the capacity of thousands of students and teenagers. Eerily one can watch dancers on the main dancefloor from above where the music cannot be heard in secluded romantic corners.

The drinks are well priced and the fun to be had is undoubtedly epic as themes for an evening ebb and flow as we move from room to room, but ladies, still expect to be harassed by perverted men seeking a partner for the evening- 8/10
