Walkabout Bar

OK, so you happen to notice this Gothic medieval building behind a bank on Charing Cross road and you think ‘hey, its a walkabout- those are good aren’t they?’ and wander in. Well this one is basically an small converted church that feels like a cinema with one enormous screen playing the biggest sports game currently on in the world and a cramped bar. No drink was cheaper than £2.50 and the cocktails ranged from £4 upwards per glass- of which each had no more than two shots. I wasn’t too impressed. The bar took ages to get served at and the place was full early in the evening even though the upper-deck was closed. The cocktails did taste rather good though and the toilets seemed about average (if not a rather long walk to the men’s). Not really the kind of place I’d come to unless i was looking for somewhere to watch football in Leicester square.

Overall an unimpressive and tightly packed 4/10.
