The White Horse Pub

Its Friday night and the rain is starting to come down. Frantically we turn a corner seeking shelter in Soho’s back roads. Imagine our surprise to stumble across a good fifty people standing in the alley outside the White horse, most without umbrellas. We weave through the crowd into the pub. Inside is an impressively Big bar accessible from two sides of what really was a big room. I have to be honest and claim that the horse is a lot Bigger than it looks from the outside. We get served promptly despite the crowd who courteously move to accommodate us. The house serves cheaper drinks than expected so we leave the bar with smiles and small change. Looking further into the pub we find empty seats under a. Clear roof extension at the back where it is quiet enough to have a good conversation and overhear others. Some girl in trendy carnaby street typical attire talks and giggles to friends recounting a story where she was caught with Mayo on her face.
Overall the mood in tv White horse was fresh, friendly and relaxed where an after work crowd was mixing well with late shoppers. Fully deserving of a hearty 7/10.
