The Diner Bar and Restaurant

A bustling American restaurant and bar combination wit some tables outside. Inside the venue there is a parade of badly placed seating and a raised wooden platform on the right. At the back is the main bar where service is quite slow, the staff having somewhat lowered IQ and demonstrating little regard for diners and drinkers alike. Cocktails are the order of the day or bottled beer. The wait for food is relatively short but its not overly impressive when received. Its hard to say too much about the diner. We found it whole-heartedly uncomfortable, busy from the carnaby street shoppers and more of a tourist trap than a venue I’d visit wit open arms of an evening out.

Overall quite unimpressed my party and i stay for a beer or two but don’t give the place more than a couple of hours before there are more folk hovering in the aisle keenly watching you drink your beer and leave the table so they can pounce on it than cheery drinkers - 3/10
