The Coach and Horses Pub

Finally after ploughing long and hard through Soho we Come across a pub, bolstering with character. As we enter, the red colour on all the Walls makes my eyes widen and although the pub is not overcrowded we nestle into a spot at the Bar and order. Strong cider and try to pick the place apart for a review. A little over average prices, we note as the Bar staff quickly dash around behind the bar, even advising on drinks we may enjoy. The crowd are loud and give the place a community feel and looking around I wonder if the venue is actually gay orientated. Although looks can be deceiving I Certainly spot a lesbian couple by the door, drowning in Big necklaces. We actually found the pub quite hard to find, it seems to be in a difficult location on a quiet road.
I spot a Piano in the corner and looking back at the bar I note that there isn’t actually a huge selection of quality drinks, the bar man spots me looking and offers up a plate where a giant sausage roll has been trimmed into pucks of meat and pastry for two pounds a puck expensive for what turned out to be a mouthful of over buttered flaky, cakey pastry and a grisly filling. This put me off a little - 6/10
