Studio Valbonne

Studio Valbonne is a very exclusive club just of Carnaby Street near London’s Soho and regent Street. It keeps itself quite well hidden yet access to the rest of the city and a pool of nightlife is only a few steps away. The venue itself sits in the canopy of Soho, up a flight of stairs, lit up with purple and green up-lighting with well varnished floors and smartened security. The main room is a large, it is dotted with leather suites and with the main bar to the right the rest of the room steps down into a pit where the VIP area coils around along the right hand side. It is a cream of upmarket which cannot be found in brash venues like Ruby Blues, yet perhaps could be bigger and the prices are understandabley steep, (I believe the most expensive item on the menu was a £28,000 champagne magnum). I also noted that free cocktails were available for early arrivals.

I visited Studio Valbonne during a club night called Sintillate. The staff at which do an excellent job of keeping together a club with vibrancy and exclusivity that really makes you feel like you are having a very upmarket night out. Sintillate promises to keep the most attractive clientele, play cutting-edge urban music and is stringent on ensuring its participants have a good night out. I can quite honestly say I haven’t seen as much female talent in one place for a long time, low cut tops and hot-pants mingle with high fashions and between them gather men with cash to throw around. I would highly recommend visiting this venue for a Sintillate evening which currently takes place every Friday. Tickets and guest-list information can all be found by clicking here: http://www.sintillate.co.uk/first_page.htm

Overall both Studio Valbonne and the club night here on a Friday night combine well to produce a higher quality london clubbing exerpience that is not quite out of reach of anyone with a bit of cash to throw around, even if its just for a one off- 9/10

Just discovered your site and dig the concept. (But I do worry about your liver a bit!) Here’s what I want to know…what are your all-time favorite places? Can you post a round-up of your Top 10 or 20?
