O’ Neill’s Irish Bar

Tucked away quite percariously in London’s Soho, a stone’s throw from China town, it seems that the bar manager thinks its okay to charge £7 entry fee to what is just a very packed two storey - low ceiling pub. Sure, its popular and in a very central location but at least with O Neills you normally get breathing space. In this branch there is no such thing. As you shimmy into the heaviest crowd at the bar and get served (servcie which is surprisingly fast) you quickly begint o feel liek you are drowning in the surge. So imagine my surprise when a young lady accosted me at the bar and swept me away into the throes of a relationship. But you know what they say about relationships that start in Bars..

Overall I cant help but have a soft spot for this place now but with no where to sit really, a meat market going on on the first floor and the other options for a friday night in the surrounding area - this is certainly not my first choice for a night out - 4/10
