Bar Edge

Sitting on the corner of Soho square, Bar edge is one of the closest bars to Tottenham Court Road tube station and yet for where it is, it is relatively quiet. A multi-storey venue with a bar on each floor and some decor modelled with performance lighting helps set a mood of a trendy night out but Bar Edge very much feels like a pit-stop on a night out. It has very little seating available, owing to its slender and lanky layout. The staff are not particularly friendly, looking out into the crowd with glances of distain but the mood of the place is light hearted and fun. Definitely not a venue for the hard-core with its pop tunes and after-work crowd composition.

Overall Bar Edge is a convienant bar for a drink and little else, it does not try to push itself as a cocktail bar or music venue but serves the drinks, does the job and when its time to sit down, its time to leave - 5/10
