The Albion Pub

Olympia isn’t exactly crammed with vibrant pubs but this little number a little down the road from the conference centre suits most tastes. It is a dark woody long pub with lots of light coming in from its small windows and packed full of suits eating their lunch and drinking. The bar staff are friendly but slow to service, seemingly confused after every question. The venue doesn’t have a menu either so reading the blackboard behind the bar is the best that you can hope for. The first floor is not easy to reach,a small wrought iron rickety spiral staircase takes one upstairs where there is an unmanned bar and a more quiet wooden floor.
Overall the venue is a twist of authentic pub but it is not run very well although it has to be said that despite the short menu, the food is very good 6/10
