The Archers Pub (Brick Lane - London)

The Archers Pub

A tiny tiny community pub at the Aldgate end of Brick Lane, the Archers boats good prices on the available beverages and even serves up snakebite. Like most of Brick Lane the Archers takes on a few shifty characters among middle aged crowds, trendies and old men. At one point a gentleman who has been hopping foot to foot since we arrived begins barking very loudly and brings the pub to silence as he darts outside into the night. Further internet probes reveal history of fights and brawls yet the pub seems too small to cater for any violence.

However we found no immediate signs of conflict, the toilets were a little off putting but glad to see such diversity in a pub that could be mistaken for a big wardrobe- 6/10
