Bar Kick

Where Shoreditch and Old Street exchange glances at one another, meeting at an intersection, here sits Bar Kick. Bar Kick is an inspired, themed bar specialising in those who are fans of table football (or foosball as the americans call it). Bar Kick is a two leveled bar with a throwback 1950’s student type appeal to it, fast bar service, yellowed walls and assertedly strange seating and a large number of tables to play on. Downstairs I count in excess of 8 tables where the crowds quickly get excited by the buzz of competition in the air. The bar tries to specialise in cocktails and Mexican bottled beer but the cocktails aren’t up to scratch and it seem like they are trying to appeal to a student market rather than sports fans.

Overall a very fun place to spend some of your evening, it quickly gets busy even on the weeknights as I’m sure you can imagine being such a different place to show off skills you may not remember having has since days down the student union, 7/10
