Ye Grapes

Selectively tucked away, Ye Grapes is a pub exclusively for two groups, the locals that know where it is and the pub explorers of this world looking to find it. You literally stumble out of a collective of very quiet cobbled roads up this well hidden and apparently well establishment pub. The place is relatively large, friendly and not overcrowded, yet groups on the monopoly pub crawl are to be expected. The selection at the bar is relatively reasonable and the prices again are average. The bar woman who was available upon my visit was welcoming and fresh-faced for new visitors. There were no cold looks on entry and without a doubt this would be a good idea for a drink on a quiet summery Saturday afternoon.
Overall a hearty affair, minor points to improve on like renovation and updating but the place was wholly suitable for midday drinks, not sure how late its actually open - 7/10

Now living half the year in Hoboken New Jersey and Half in the UK, always visit Ye Grapes when I’m in Mayfair, what a great British Pub, food not bad and the Drinks are great, prices not bad for Mayfair either.

Found this pub close to a hotel I stayed in 4 years ago, with someone special in my life at the time. Been back several times since, but not been in the last 9 months. Ready for another fix soon I think.
