This is a Bar (previous called Low Life)

Not the sort of location you’d expect to find a new-wave, underground, very trendy bar but beleive it or not, one does sit here. The name of the venue has been in dispute for sometime with the owners and bar staff believing to run riot in some fashion, a veneu that caters for the needs fo its clientele. Downstairs is a selection of rounded booth, a dark fish tank built into the wall and the bar at the far end - very compact but with a fantstic selection of wierd and wonderful liquors. There are also alcoves in the other corners with oak trees which have been fashioned into tables, deep slouching sofas and retro light fittings. The place attracts a swoth of hot girls mounted on high stools, polish beers, rich red lighting and a maddened and cheerful gathering of staff.

I have the delight of having tequila poured down my throat by the bar man, quite off-guard but grateful and having my evening poisoned with the mysteries of somewhere that little bit better than the serving of central - a brick lane offering in the west end - overall 6/10
