The Queen’s Head

This quite large pub remains quiet and cold and uninviting throughout the year. Its furnishings are adequate to plant yourself in the silence that fills the place with its traditional management failing to make this the gastro it yearns to be. Possibly only good as a local this pub features a large bar as a focal point and then drifts around a corner into the back where booths reside next to a backdoor and smelly toilets. However this place is not a dump its just got nothing on the likes of the enterprise which surely must pull 90% of its business away, it just appears to lack every speck of character and leaves the punter quiet and a lone at the back of the pub.

Overall a uninspiring 5/10, could easily be rescued, it just needs to be recognised as failing to impress..
