The Yorkshire Grey

This oldy woldy pub sits in the back of Fitzrovia much like a old (but good) forgotten book. Its pages are dusty yet musky and remind you of a simpler life. This is another of the infamous independent chain pub bars which I keep stumbling upon. Its Cider and independent beers all brewed to old recipes and prices still very reasonable for the area. The venue itself is a little cramped for its popularity despite its secrecy. The interior furniture is old fashioned and some of the pub is separated by old room-separators dotted in the corners of the pub. If you can find your way upstairs you will happen upon a room that much resembles your grandma’s living room. The bar service is fairly slow and although there is a lovely alley outside to lounge in, there are not enough seats to accommodate if the pub gets busy of a Friday evening.
Overall another quaint addition to this pub chain but could do with a bit more life in its old bones and a seat or two to match - 5/10
