The Court Pub (Goodge Street - London)

The Court Pub

Supposedly the Court is a Scream bar but I found it to be more of a sports bar that one for students. The prices were not even particularly cheap at the bar, which sits downstairs facing the two sets of entrance doors. Upon entering you will find the place to be moderately busy, the better action occuring upstairs where one can find two pool tables and dotted around the rest of the pub are wide-screen TV’s broadcasting football and other such sports. The location of the venue is surprisingly hidden despite being on a main road, maybe because it is a little on the small side.

Overall the venue is quite trendy, less studenty than others in the chain which might be a good opportunity for those university types to feel the cold shoulder of pubs that are a little less about counting the pennies and more about roaring loudly when someone scores a goal - 5/10
