The Blue Posts

This perky corner pub is larger inside that you would first imagine upon approach. Inside it offers some interesting points such as attractive bar staff, food, darts(probably the closest darts offering to Oxford Street), a bar upstairs and best of all the independent air of yet another Samuel Smith’s bar. Like the others in the chain, even the Cola is of its own brand and the cider on tap (special reserve) is crisp and tantalizing. The blue posts fluctuates with the time of the day for busyness. After work the crowd steams in but of a late lunch you can hear the floorboards creek under the weight of the only other drinker in the pub and its then you realise that no music is played in this venue at all (at least at lunchtime).

Overall it is nice to be able to sit outside for a pint to close to Oxford street with with a couple of other luxuries in a venue with the cheapest pint so close to this shopping district you cant go wrong if its the traditional pint that you are after - 6/10
