The Erris Tavern (Finchley - London)

The Erris Tavern

Although looking much like a green grocers from the outside it is actually larger inside that you might expect from a local pub and make sure you get in before eleven thirty on a Saturday for a lock-in. It is by far the most Irish pub I think I’ve ever been in, in London. Everything from the green decor to the jukebox playing only the most classic of Irish hits provides a hearty atmosphere in which to enjoy your guinness and fine whisky. Bar staff are very friendly and the drinks are about a tenner for two pints and two shots.

6/10 too pricey and small to be anything outstanding but great for one or two at the weekend with close friends.
