GK2 Asian Bar

This brand new bar warrented a look I felt but it took some blagging to get in around the bouncers who acted like the place was very exclusive. It is essebtially a new age indian restaurant with a bar. very socialable and feuling the asian social scene in the area. It is clearly a much needed establishment because it is packed and the food looked amazing. The drinks were quite expensive and the children running round your feet are nightmarish. The toilets are glorified but thats probably becaue they havent been used yet. Probably a good place to go for a curry and drinks after without stepping outside.

Overall 5/10

I ordered a takeaway (delivery) and after being promissed it would be no longer than 45 mins it took 1hr 15 mins. When I checked the delivery it was minus a lamb vindaloo and the other contents were stone cold! Nice!

    Tips before going to GK2

    1. Obtain a low interest rate loan to pay for the food and drinks.

    2. Eat befor you go there to eat.

    3. Take relevant tablets for any sickness due to the taste of food.

    4. And lasty try not to go, then ignore the above.

Stick to fish and chips at least it will only cost a £1.

I went to this place, the food was ok. Starters were nice if you could get them but the mains were salty.
I was sick after that…. yes you guessed it, food poisoning.

    Anyone for vindaloo?

GKII is great now, if you’ve had a problem in the past, do try again, I have had many a great meal there. The staff are great and efficient.
