The Tipperary

The Tipperary, like most pubs in Fleet street is long and thin but don’t be deterred because the shape of a coffin, despite the fact that the bar (full length of the pub) fully takes up 50% of the width of it, this basically means that anyone sporting a large belly will have problems with navigation and anyone wearing a ridiculous costume in favour of the Monopoly pub crawl (for which this pub populates the route for the Fleet Street square) . The bar staff are very very friendly though and this is the quality that i think the Tipperary offers at its best, because clambering up a very narrow flight of stairs to reach toilets in the crows-nest of this venue is not altogether pleasant.

Overall the Tipperary does not offer a wild selection but its service is homely and encouraging to see so worth popping in for a beverage, sitting at the bar and having a chin wag with the bar woman 6/10
